As the quote goes, “Leadership isn’t about standing above others — it’s about lifting them higher.” I’m Savannah Ryan, and that truth has shaped every step of my journey. At fifteen, I walked into a modest gym in Oxnard, California, to cheer and dance for hundreds of young girls.
Many came from underserved communities, yet each carried a spark within her. As I taught them to move in rhythm and believe in themselves, I discovered my own rhythm: the heartbeat of connection, courage, and purpose. That experience became my foundation, teaching me that true leadership begins the moment you choose to empower others to rise with you.
Embracing Risk and Reward
As I grew older, I always cherished growth, and success comes from learning and discipline. This led me to one of the most unexpected classrooms the set of Shark Tank. Working as an Executive Assistant to the Sharks, I had a front-row seat to the art of negotiation, innovation, and resilience.
One day, Lori Greiner looked me in the eyes and said words I’ll never forget:
“Never feel you don’t deserve a seat at a table full of men.”
That sentence encouraged me . It reminded me that I didn’t just belong at the table, I was capable of building my own.
Finding My Voice in the World of Tech
My next leap came when I joined Kalon Global Group, a digital development company in Europe. There, I, Savannah Ryan discovered that technology and leadership share the same core principle adaptability. Every challenge became a puzzle to solve. I learned to communicate across cultures, manage high-stakes projects, and keep operations running smoothly.
It was demanding work, but it fueled me. I realized that when passion meets persistence, you can thrive anywhere.
Creating My Own Legacy with WILD GRACE
In 2016, I, Savannah Ryan made the decisions of my life where I founded my own marketing agency, Storytale Marketing, later rebranded as WILD GRACE. I wanted to create a space where creativity met purpose, where brands could tell stories that move people.
Within a year, we generated over $250k in revenue, and our client list grew to include Fortune 500 companies and groundbreaking startups. From medical innovation to sustainable tech and luxury travel, every partnership reminded me of one truth — success feels more meaningful when it uplifts others.
Championing Women in Tech
While leading my company, I couldn’t ignore a sobering fact: women remain underrepresented in technology. Even today, we make up only about a quarter of the tech workforce. But instead of being discouraged, I saw an opportunity.
I, Savannah Ryan feel good to tell that I have made it my mission to build and support female-led teams, fostering inclusivity and representation at every level.
